Mr. Hallquist, thanks and it will take some time to put the overall picture together. But on the last 2 paragraphs that I posted from 1900 they are just sentences away under the Socit de Firminy heading but Mr. Brustlein was known as the Alloy King of France and was at Jacob Holtzer & Co. to at least 1877 and possibly later. In 1900 I'm not sure if he was still there or not. With the last snippet of barrel making in Unieux(an assumption can be made it was Jacob Holtzer & Co.), I'm not sure who exactly was doing the hammering.
