I'm sure you are right- the late Nash Buckingham had a custom M50 12 gauge- and he apparently shot it well, after years of using the big heavy 32" barreled Beckers, and also a custom M21 with both 32" and 26" barrels- all 12's. I'm just not into autoloaders at all, shoot way better with a Model 12, and at my age (nearing 70) not likely to change.

At a DU clays shoot in March- one of the guys in the squad let me try his Binelli $1750 12 autoloader- choke tubes, rib, green front sight- and I finally managed to hit those stupid rabbit targets with it-but I can think of 4 good 12 bore doubles I could buy- all of them prices between $1000 and maybe $1500- ejectors, DT- good stock dims- But you've got me intrigued with a shotgun model that my gunning hero shot for ducks-maybe!!
