I'd be very interested in a case or two of bismuth shells if they would through them on the pallet!

I would take a couple flats of 12 ga. one ounce loads of 6's, and a flat of short 16 ga. in Brit 6's or 7's.

Those are more expensive than RST. I dont understand the point of purchasing them. I can simply order RST for less. $16 for a box of 28 ga shells?

Seems I forgot to note my wishes of #5s 1 1/8, or similar, 12 bore. For me it is the Diamond shot that makes it my choice, which along w/ similar Kents, rounds out my choice of cartridge.

Cheers,

How do these compare to the older Gamebore VIP loading? I bought a pallet of 16 gauge 2 1/2 VIP loads about a decade and a half ago, sold some, gave some away, and shot a ton of em.
They were hard hitting, and very intense, recoil wise, in a 6 pound 16. I couldnt shoot more than one round of skeet with them, but, they were marvelous on birds.
Im down to a flat of 5s and a few boxes of 6s. Fiber wads, they worked well in guns with tighter chokes.

Best,
Ted

Ted, things have changed somewhat recently, but it used to be that pretty much all the Brit shells you could buy in this country were field loads, not target loads. I can remember when Bill Hanus was hawking Lyalvales. That was before I ever owned a Brit double myself. But he sent me some, and I discovered that they packed quite a wallop on the back end. Shot skeet with a friend who had a Brit double. I handed him a couple of those to try when we were shooting skeet together. He shot one of them, swore, handed me the other one, and told me what I could do with it.

Were the shells externally lubricated by any chance?
