I had some worn and damaged parts TIG welded by Mr. Peter Nagel at Restorative Welding. He did a thorough and excellent job with some very hard to weld parts. Some bits of my Greener were of difficult to weld wrought iron and one part had a brazed repair a fraction of an inch from where weld was needed. All accomplished successfully.

He took the time to call and discuss the particulars for each part and explain what he could and could not do. He stated he was busy and running a little behind. I had the parts in two weeks(!) at a reasonable price.

It is a pleasure to do business with a guy who is dedicated to good work.

I've used him before as well, and couldn't have been happier with the work and service.

Brazed repair- best technique for wrought and cast iron "welding" Braised- a manner of cooking meat, I believe. I have a Miller 250 TIG in our shop, with Linde water cooled torch-- great for mild and alloyed steel, and with the proper settings and tungsten electrode, aluminum as well.

Sounds to me like you found the right man to do your work-
