Boy, he looks awfully young, are you sure? I'm beginning to think that a lot lately too, all these 40 somethings look young to me, but he may have 20 years under his belt.

Anyone have any experience on his turnaround time for basic SxS and O/U gunsmithing like trigger work, barrel dents, stock inletting, etc?

Good work is self evident, I was not aware it required the executioner be old.
Always pleasing to learn of a younger person doing quality work and always glad to hear of an older person well versed in their craft taking on an apprentice to impart some of their wisdom, acquired practices and well honed methods of work to. We have a few of those individuals here, and to all of you generous folks, a heart felt thank you!

In keeping with the level of idiocy I received in reply to my post about Jig-a-loo, I'll reply to this one that I loved Del Whitman's rendition of "Una Paloma Blanca".

I bought a Sauer from Bryan Bilinski a couple years back. Knew it had a broken hammer. Bryan turned it over to Del for repair. Fix was both quick and well done.

Based upon the replies received here and recommendations at a recent SxS shoot, I asked Del to work on my German SxS. He did an outstanding job putting the gun back on face and taking the looseness out. The gun functions like new. He estimated a month and a half for the job and I had the gun back in two weeks! He even went out of his way to meet me to pick up the gun and a friend who lives in the area to pick up the gun. He'll have my business again.
