Doug:

A thousand pardons, sir. Did the Army fit the stock?

Gentlemens:

The stock was fit by Mr. Greg Pennell. Mr.Pennell recently retired after many years of service to this country in the Army. He is now back home in the hills of eastern Kentucky, carving on gun stocks in his spare time.

The rifle is chambered in .44-70 Maynard and sports a Green Mountain barrel.

Glenn

Edited for typo in caliber designation.

My Earle/Wesson action is supposed to ship this week!

Simply gorgeous. I keep trying to build up the courage to do a project gun so I can use the services of some of the talent on this board. This type of work sure helps.
