OK I know it has been asked a thousand times but just one more for me please. 1913 SW (serial number falls in this range). All parts have matching numbers. No case color left, receiver buffed shiny. 30" M/F heavyweight nice and shiny tight lockup, slight scratches on outsides but no dings. Lever to right of center. Stock has all of the checkering sanded off and a bad refinish, but no visible cracks or chips. Thanks This was done from memory if there are any other questions or anthing I forgot to mention please ask.

If 12ga? I'd say no more than $700. here in W.PA. At least I would not pay more, but I'm thrifty and polite to myself. Theres a gun show @ Westmoreland Mall March 29th- 30th (I think)
Does the stock fit you? Perhaps less $

Well 800 or less. But, there is a big question left unanswered about the condition of the barrels. If they are nice and shiny with no pitting and in original condition the gun should approach 800 and, if lucky get just over. Bad bores and its worth 400 or less. Jake

When it comes to Sterlingworths, some of you guys live in the past. Just like duck decoys, the better ones have found better dealers and no longer can be hunted in the local flea markets for the most part.

If the stock were refinished and re-checkered for $400, case colored for $300, and the barrels re-blacked for $300 - a total of a $grand, would it be worth $2k as a completely restored gun? Probably.

I looked at 30 incher non-ej at a show 2 weeks ago. This gun was in excellent mechanical condition, had about 20-30%cc, nice barrel blue, and few stock marks plus ole' vented pad and the tag was $900.

Thanks for the replys. This one is tagged at $475 but I think I could talk down to $400.

Even the hillbillies know a good SW is worth more than that. Better check it out!
