Fin;
First thing to remember is that wear in locking bolt itself will not put a gun "Off Face", except to the extent it fails to bring the bbls down to there proper position. Off Face is usually a result of wear in the hinge. This can be determined by simply wrapping your thumb around the bbls & bring them down as far as they will go. If there is then still gap betwen bbls & breech you have hinge wear which no amount of bolt correction will cure. "If" this actually brings the bls down tight against the breech, while the bolt will not then the bolting needs tightening. To do this properly would entail either fitting a new bolt or building up the bolting surface on the "Lower" leg of the rib extension & refitting. Best method for this would be TIG welding. As long as the bbls are seating tight, I would ignore the position of the lever. The lever going "Left" was after all the design intention of this "Low-Tech" bolting to compensate for wear.
