I am thinking of getting the book, " L.C. Smith The Legend Lives" and heard that the photos were distorted on a few full legnth shots. Is this book worth the $125.00 Thanks for your responses.

Yes, it is. I have found the information invaluable and the pictures very well done. There may be some imperfections in some of the pictures. However, for my needs and wants the book is worth more than the asking price.

Don't hesitate--- buy it! I've had mine since they first rolled off the press, and everything about it is first class and in a lot more depth than Brophy's book.

I got mine about 6 months ago and I have greatly enjoyed it. Given the time I've spent with it so far, I probably paid about $10/hour and I'm likely to get that down a lot lower with a little bit of time.

You could sure save the $125 by not making a bad purchase because you don't have the information when you are ready to buy another Smith.

Got it and found it a very satisfying book to have around. I already had the Brophy book, but this new book is very much a collectable and also a conversation piece. I haven't explored it much yet as I consider these books more reference and geewhiz kinda books. So, I just skim it from time to time. Get two and sell the other in 5 yrs and make 2-3 times your money I bet.

It is a good book to have, especially if you don't have the Brophy book. An L.C. Smith fan should have both, however there is little new information in the new book. The pictures are great for the most part. Some are distorted.

Got my copy from the author's hands along with nice inscription at the Southern/Sanford this past April. Stunning book and stunning achievement!! Particularly respect the author's "I'll HAVE IT published in the USA" ethic. Would make a MEMORABLE Christmas gift.
