I've got a Browning BSS shotgun in 20 gauge with two broken extractor/ejectors. These parts are unavailable. (if anyone knows where they can be located, please let me know!) I've had a local gunsmith send them off to a micro welder for repair. The first two efforts were unsuccessful, the extractors broke on the first dry-fire and attepted ejection. The third time they passed the dry fire test, but I am scared to fire them for real.......afraid they will break again and I may loose a part in the field. This is obviously no good. Can I have these parts machined from scratch and what would be the cost? They are small, frail, and rather complex to start with in my opinion. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
