am trying to remove the butte stock from a levever A grade -- an upscale nitro special. have removed the butte plate and stock screw to the receiver. the nitro special butte stock will now detach from the receiver by pulling the wood and receiver apart. the lefever A grade has a trigger guard screw that must be removed to remove the butte stock. however when i try and pull the butte stock from the receiver it will move less than 1/4" and stop. will i need to remove the trigger plate assembly and screws that hold the metal device the butte stock screw is fastened to to hold the butte stock to the receiver. it appears the A grade lefever is not identical to the nitro special in the way the butte stock is secured to the receiver. anyone out there know the way to get the lefever butte stock off the receiver ect?
