I am selling the vast majority of my equipment and closing shop. Located in northern Illinois. Can ship smaller stuff or bring to Marshalltown classes in August. I have to much to list as a lot of it is machinist measuring and hand tool. Machines except kiln are under power for inspection. Open to trades for guns or actions, particularly Springfield 1903 or 1922, Win. 70, Mausers or other????

Here are some of the major items:

Bridgeport EZ trak mill, Kurt vise, collets. $6000 Sold

Bridgeport 9x32 milling machine with two heads, vise, collets. Being auctioned.

Clausing 6903 lathe. Being auctioned.

Large ceramic kiln with some color case crucibles. Being auctioned.

Custom stock drying cabinet. Sold

Flammable cabinet 33 Gal. Being auctioned.

Harig 6-12 surface grinder. Being auctioned.

Oxy-acet torch set with cart and cylinders. $350 Sold

Miller Econo tig with cylinder. $1500 Sold

Equipto butcher block benches with drawers and shelves, about 10 bench vises with swivel jaws and bases, 2 drill presses, about 12 Kennedy toolboxes, 2 belt sanders, 33 gallon air compressor, various fixtures, wall cabinets, tooling, metallic reloading equipment, gun cases, etc.

Email dmschrankjr@gmail.com

Edit:
The items marked being auctioned have been sent to Obenhauf auction service in Round Lake Illinois. They will be auctioning some of the Kennedy toolboxes, bench vises, shop cabinets, machines, etc and I will be taking them more stuff when I clean out our storage unit over the next few months.

Potentially interested in the 9x32 BP, with 2 heads? Bot heads attached or is one a spare?

Repectfully

MC:
Sorry, reamers are already packed so don’t have a list. I will send you a PM when I unpack. You are 2nd in line on them as John Powers already emailed me on the reamers.

Mike:
The second head is mounted on the back end of the ram. I have heard it referred to as a secondary operation head, but have never used it (neither did the gentleman I bought the mill from. I will email picture to you directly.

DSchrank,
Bridgeport Mills sometimes came with a slotting attachment (think vertical shaper) that attached to the back side of the ram.

There was also a Cherrying head for a Bridgeport. I used one a LONG time ago to sink dies for musical instruments at CG Conn in Abilene TX.

Sorry for the delayed reply, it’s been a crazy few weeks.

The second head is a rotary tool head which has step pulleys to adjust spindle speed.

The mill, as well as a lot of the other items, is being sold by Obenhauf auction service in Round Lake IL.
