Winston Churchill did not have a great track record, even when that "Peace In Our Time" idiot was bending over for Der Fuehrer and the Chezch-Sudentenland FUBAR-- anybody recall Gallipoli and the bloodbath from WW1. Anybody ever hear of the "naughty documents" he and Uncle Joe Stalin concocted and used to dupe a sick and dying FDR at Yalta.. Now our Winston Churchill, the master engraver-- that is, indeed, a different gent indeed. He even plays a Martin acoustic guitar--fine choice indeed.. RWTF

I think shooting that gun is the best tribute to owning it. I hope it shoots half as well as it looks. Perhaps a few paper Federals for a throw back shell from it's youth. Were you closer I'd donate a few to the cause. Loaded with the proper Red Dot for that perfect smell when fired. Enjoy and shoot in good health.

If that was done in the 1950's what do you think that level of work cost? And if could you get it done today, would it cost ten time that much? That is if you could find anyone who would even do that deep relief style of engraving which must take a lot of extra time, unless you are using one of those GRS power engraves. They did not learn that on YouTube.

sorry for "Der Scheisfest"-- if we did not have a Vermont engraver named after a semi-famous British PM, and the M12 Pigeon Grade was not highly engraved and you opened the door as to whom may have done this masterful bit of engraving, perhaps I would have suggested Mr. Madis- a WRA employee-30 year employee-and also a master engraver in his own right. Just a friendly suggestion, as to your detailed fotos, the rug or carpet background somewhat detracts from the details on the receiver. Now as to my M12 28 gauge-since this thread is about M12's, and skeet choking, as this is the only one of my M12's that has skeet choking (Not some damned "pickle" either--I mentioned it. Not bragging, I just happened to be lucky to have it "fall into my lap" so to speak. Other members post about their new shotgun or rifles on this forum, why is it when I do that, you want to question that fact. And Bill, the ONLY Parker I own at present was the "Project Parker" Brad Bachelder did for me before 2010-it was in an article I wrote about it for the Parker Pages. Shortly after that time frame, Brad sold my Granddad's 12 AAH grade Parker for me, privately-and I put the funds in a trust for the grandkids. I have NO idea where it is, and frankly, don't need to know. RWTF
