Gentlemen. If you haven't noticed, the extraneous contentious quotient (and those guys do have a lot to add) is much diminished over the last few months; the professional gunsmith comments and the gun historian observations are being posted without the past sniping.

This is a great site. It's unique because the topics are not split up...you can read what you want to read.... How about the annual contribution to help Dave keep it going.

I did not contribute last year because I was so fed up with stepping in turds each time I opened a thread. As Argo noted, however, this forum has indeed become a pleasure again recently and I just contributed.

As for the "background noise" I found it helped a lot to put 2 or 3 individuals on ignore.
