Even today there are still some gunmakers creating traditional guns and rifles. But of course they make it the modern way. For example Thomas Heuberg, a master engraver and master gunmaker, who's favorite is the Nimrod Action for his Drillings, Double Rifles and Double Guns. Read more:

Hard to tell but are the locks curved or flat from top to bottom? The engraved gun looks a bit curved.

@xausa: You are right of course!

What makes Thomas Heuberg so very special is, that all parts are made by himself inhouse - from the tiniest screw to the barrels!!!!
He is the only maker in Europe, who is still able or willing to do so. All others use at least some parts from suppliers.
