OP falcon Boxlock Joined: Apr 2019 Posts: 2 Alabama	Does anyone recognize or know who this gunsmith or manufacturers marking is? It looks to be a stylized "K" in an oval stamped on the barrel forward of the receiver ring. It is on a Mauser 98 sporter rifle which also stamped "Cal 30-06" with serial number. Or do you think it's a Model 1909 in 7.65 Argentine which has been rechambered to .30-'06?

OP falcon Boxlock Joined: Apr 2019 Posts: 2 Alabama	It has a sporter contour barrel, no markings on the underside and only the K and the CAL 30-06. The receiver does have a Z in a circle (Czech?) stamp and M7E in the lug area. Also has a 7 stamped on the side of the trigger guard.
