https://www.skbshotguns.com/shotguns/200hr-target

Tried one of these out yesterday at my clubs five stand. I really liked it. All attributes of a true target gun. The DAC was a little low (stick on Gel pad fixed that). The trigger was a bit heavier than I'm used to but broke clean. I really liked the balance. 32" tubes.

Thanks for the report, Ken. They are very interesting guns, especially for a competition shooter who shoots a ramped-rib o/u and wants to shoot sxs events.

I have a suspicion these guns are much better quality than their price point indicates.

Though a lefty version, this Dickinson sideplate version with rust-blued barrels of the same gun, is mighty attractive even for the price:

It looks like it uses v-springs instead of coil. Not a bad looking gun.

One is $2500, the other is $3795. Is the wood the only difference or are they different guns?

Dang, Eightbore. Did you even bother to look at the link to the Dickinson GI photos and description? The SKB is a scalloped boxlock with ok wood and a high-polish, flashy blue job. The Dickinson is a sideplated boxlock with outstanding wood and a beautiful rust blue job. They are mechanically the same, both made by Akus in Turkey. Here are better photos of the SKB:

Everyone has their own tastes on these matters.

I find the actual triggers on Akus shotguns to be cheap stamped junk. Not the creep or pulls, the trigger blades themselves.

I run an Akus small bore in SxS shoots for it's dependability and ease of shooting modern ammo.
Outrageously strong ejectors. Break a window 2 miles away! Blind a spectator from 30 paces!

Out there doing it best I can.

CZ, the triggers in the ad photos don't show up as so cheaply made, look ok to me. Are they hollow, tinny, what? Please explain a little further. Thanks.
