That was funny!

Almost as funny as watching Sen. Susan Collins' speech yesterday where she thoughtfully and carefully detailed her reasons for a vote to confirm Kavanaugh, and rejected the insane and overzealous tactics of the Liberal left Democrats.

Let's all hope that sentiment was a microcosm of a broad understanding that the Democrats over-played a dishonest hand... and a hope that they pay for that again on Election Day.

Let's get out there and make it happen! We can insure that the Constitution and our Gun Rights remain intact and solid for another generation. Or we can get complacent and let a golden opportunity slip away.

While many of you know, keith and I are not the best of buds by any stretch of the imagine, I will give credit were credit is due. He really has hit a home run with this subject. I agree 110% on what he has said.

Thank God he will be confirmed today!

It is interesting to note that the one Democratic senator who will vote "For" Kavanaugh is from West Virginia. In June of 1863, a part of Virginia broke away from the then CSA state of Virginia (Formerly Democratic USA) & joined itself under the name of West Virginia to the now Republican USA. It is also interesting that though about 8 months after Lincoln's Infamous Emancipation Proclamation W Virginia was admitted to the Union as a "Slave State".

I hope Alaska sends Murkowski packing at the first opportunity. She appears to have taken up the mantle left by the death of John McCain.

Thanks much cback. Reluctantly, I would have to give some credit to Senate Republicans, flashes of some spunk-n-spine.

Perhaps Trump is leading by example and they are learning that sticking to their guns, rather than caving to the vocal minority, may actually work.

By just about every measure, Trump is one of the most successful presidents of the post war era. Economy booming, unemployment at historic lows, regulatory bullshit being removed. Looking forward to another 6 years of him leading by example. I suspect voters in Canada and Europe may start expecting more from their leaders.

Keep draining that swamp, baby!

Many thanks to all who took the time to contact their Senators to voice their support for a pro-Constitution and strong pro-2nd Amendment Supreme Court Justice.... Brett Kavanaugh.

We can never relax and let our guard down, but this will do a lot to insure that our kids and grandkids will get to enjoy the same kind of freedoms we have. Many thanks to our Canadian friend James (canvasback) for his thoughts and his reliable support for our gun rights and our Republic. And thanks too to Greg for his kind words, in spite of differences we've had.

I hope everyone will now take a few minutes to contact their Senators once more... to thank them for voting to confirm Kavanaugh... or to inform those who voted against him that you will work to replace them at election time with someone who represents your interests. I am also hopeful that Alaskans won't forget Murkowski's vote when she runs again in 2022.

And lets hope that Ruth Bader-Ginsburg retires soon, and Trump nominates another pro-gun Conservative.
