....knee slappers all!

Hey you, cback, knock it off, how am I to peck out some response story with a straight face?

Bill, I'd like to take on two points because they pertain most to my request. First, the 'predecessor' that you don't care much for stuck almost one trillion of debt on his books to give barry one pretty nifty head start to his spending spree, under the name of some nonsense known as tarp, right? What about all the trillions squandered on barak's charge card?

But, you do tend to go on and on about your freebie health care, eh? Bill, ocare is not popular with Montanans, not the Republicans, but the recipients. Do your own research, the no show rate for 'free' health care appointments hovers somewhere around forty percent. In truth eh Bill, 'healthcare' is a pretty pricey talking point for old white progressives of means, rather than for the unappreciative with no skin in the game.

Don't for one moment get me wrong. The Montana medicaid expansion under ocare has helped many, but not nearly as much as a psuedo bleeding heart would have folks believe, eh? Who cares about some other place out of sight and out of mind when we refuse to see the facts right in front of us at home, eh? Delusion or lies, possibly, but how about hypocrisy?

Hey, your state is still my favorite place to visit. I'm poking around a bit now to see if some decent hunting will shape up for this coming month. You have a fun, safe, rewarding season.

It could be argued, quite accurately, that the necessity of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), which provided loans to Auto Makers and troubled Financial Institutions, was a result of some very stupid decisions to force lenders to give huge mortgage loans to people who could never repay them.

The bleeding and the seeds of the Great Recession of 2008 started under Democrat and serial sexual abuser Bill Clinton. Obama didn't know enough about business to dream or conceive of the TARP program to "save the auto industry" or the Financial Industry either. TARP was started under George Bush 43. But Obama gets all the credit for it in Billy"s warped mind.

ObamaCare didn't "provide" health care to anyone. It was a tax, and a mandate to the uninsured to purchase health insurance or to pay a fine. It was also a wealth redistribution plan that subsidized an already bloated Welfare State by providing taxpayer funded Health Care for those who wouldn't or couldn't work. And that was a lot under a president who managed to achieve putting 45 million more people on Welfare and Food Stamps as part of his Socialist legacy. Those who were forced to buy this very expensive insurance saw high double digit price increases when Obama promised that rates would come down. Then there were the many other broken promises such as "You can keep your Doctor", etc. They also found it was something that was very expensive to actually use due to huge co-pays. And it still left over 26 million people without Health Insurance. WHOOPIE!!!

But TARP loans that were never repaid are a small fraction of the $Trillions$ Obama added to our National Debt. We are hopeful that Trump can increase the GDP and subsequently increase income tax revenues enough to reduce it. But Democrats are doing all they can to reverse the successes and gains trump has made toward that goal. They want to return to low GDP, high unemployment, massive job killing regulations, high personal and Corporate Income taxes, and saddling our kids and grandkids with the interest costs of unsustainable debt levels. And let's not forget the deep respect we got from foreigners like ISIS, Kim Jung Un, and all the countries who were raping us on trade and not paying their fair share for NATO and U.N. dues.

I agree with Drew that this mildly OT discussion became quite OT, thanks to Billy and a few other Liberal Left Democrats who hate the idea of having another pro-2nd Amendment Supreme Court Justice. But I think it is worth it as a lesson that there really is a new Civil War going on, and anti-gun Liberals like Billy are using every kind of deception imaginable to win their battle to undermine and topple the Constitution and the Republic. And if they ever win, none of our guns or gun rights is going to be safe from them.

Not even our doubles.

Canvasback, The way I see it Clinton is a smarter, better educated, more widely experienced, better-spoken version of Donald Trump. Morally there's nothing to choose between them. Stan, I have a hard time with the abortion issue. But I do believe there are situations where it's better than the alternatives. I had students who had to make that choice. They didn't seek advice from me but told me about their struggle with it afterward. I felt most made the best decision for themselves. Some went one way, some the other. I think there's some truth to the observation that many politicians care more for children before they're born than afterwards.

Oh, and while I'm at it I'll say Obama's biggest error was the failure to indict anyone in the market collapse. That seems unforgivable.

Children? Really, Bill. If they aren't inanimate blobs, now you're saying this is an automatic prejudice against one category of human life?

You don't enjoy a good argument Billy. You run away from it like a coward whenever someone refutes your drivel with facts about your precious anti-gun Democrats that you can't defend. Did I say anything about the TARP Fund that was inaccurate? And why didn't Obama go after any of the folks responsible for the economic crash? Was it because many of the key players were Democrats and large Democrat donors? How about ObamaCare, or the fact that Democrats want to return to the same malaise and conditions that forced Corporations to abandon American plants and American workers. It kills you that Obama couldn't do a damn thing about ISIS or North Korea or Trade deficits except blaming Bush and going golfing.

Trump's progress in those areas makes Obama look like the inexperienced incompetent empty suit he was, and is to this day. And you won't go near the fact that Obama considered his biggest failure his loss to the NRA and gun owners in his quest to pass extensive anti-gun legislation.

Here's another argument for you and other lying Libtard Democrats... Why does alleged excessive beer drinking by Kavanaugh as a teenager disqualify him for a seat on the Supreme Court, but photographic evidence and admissions by Obama that he used illegal drugs like marijuana and cocaine does not disqualify him from being president or having the right to nominate Supreme Court Justices?

Dave may have shut down the old Misfires forum, but that hasn't stopped you from going off-topic here in order to show everyone how far you will go to help the Democrats destroy a pro-gun Conservative Supreme Court nominee.

I'm not trying to be a smart-aleck, or short with you when I say this, but there's really only one decision you have to make to clear it all up, assuming that you believe that all human life is sacred and is to be protected. That decision is this..................does life begin at conception, or sometime afterwards? The most extreme opposite stance is that an unborn baby is not a person until they exit the mother's womb, and thus have no rights.

I believe that life begins at conception, not at some arbitrary time after that. I also believe the Word of God is true and infallible, that the Scriptures were authored by the Holy Spirit, and written down by many different inspired men. Once I settled the fact that the Word is all true, and contains no mistakes or errors, I then had to make one choice, whether or not to believe it for myself. If I believe it, which I do, I then have to live by it with all my strength, and aided by the Holy Spirit.

When you settle this within yourself, the dividing line is clear. I choose to honor and protect all life, even that of those I vehemently disagree with, because that life is God-given.

Best, SRH

May God bless America and those who defend her.
