This is a real joke. If Tom C. could be honest about his Liberal Left persuation, he might be able to admit that the Liberal Democrats don't care about the truth at all.

Does he really expect us to believe that Lying Brian Williams cares about the truth???? How about all of his precious lying Democrat politicians who promise to not infringe upon the rights of law abiding citizens, but then they do all they can to restrict guns, ammunition, hunting, etc.????

And who can forget the self-righteous indignation toward Kavanaugh from Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal? I'm sure he would like us all to forget about his claim that he served in the military in Vietnam combat. Only problem was... It was all a lie. He never served in Vietnam. But that won't stop loyal Libtards from supporting him over Kavanaugh. We could go on for days about Democrats lies, including many right here from rocky mtn bill and King. To suggest they give a crap about truthfulness is an insult to normal intelligence. This is all about stalling and delay, and RINO Sen. Jeff Flake is no different than the Democrats in this game.

Does anyone think that Tom C. would ever admit that it was one of his Democrats who proclaimed that a lame duck President should never get to seat a Supreme Court Justice? Hint: that was from none other than Joe Biden. And isn't it sweet to see Harry Reid's decision on the nuclear option come back to bite Liberals who thought it was perfectly fine to tip the balance in their favor?

We are on the verge of a new day where no white man has the right to defend himself from slander or false accusations. And it's high time we understand that Libtards are a danger to more than our gun rights. We criticized Obama for refusing to acknowledge the threat from Muslim terrorists. But any of us who ignore the threat from Liberal Left Democrats is just as bad.

This entire BS farce of a Democratic call for FBI investigation is another example of the old joke "the horse may learn to sing". Look it up if you are not so old you have heard that joke many times before. Anyways, the gist is that the Democrats know with absolute certainty that there is no truth to these charges, they just want time. So they pretend to support them. Time for some other evidence to appear out of the past. Even if it is still being created right now.

Ford almost certainly has recovered memories or fragments of them. But you can not take her word over everyone else word. Her female friend has absolutely no reason to lie, has more reason to support her but clearly, says it did not happen. Everybody she claims was there, says clearly it did not happen and every bit of her memory except to claim it was the Judge is so foggy she can not give you location, date, how she got there, whom she came with, who took her home, whose party it was, what color was the house, anything factual at all. Her one beer must have propranolol in it to erase her memory of 90% of what happened. I would love to see her medical record and see what drugs she has been taking for the last 35 years. I bet 99% of this entire thing is therapy and Pharmacological induced. I've dealt with people taking long term meds for depression, anxiety and psychological problems and her side effects are a lot like theirs. Spotty memories, clear in one area, gone in others, intense but distorted or just out right bat shit crazy sometimes.

She should go back to the beach and stick her shameful head into the sand...if after 2 hours she's still alive I'd believe her.

Like some others here I enjoy a good argument, and I've occasionally missed Missfires for that reason. However, I think Dave was right to shut it down. This is the only online forum I participate in.I like this site, and I've learned a lot from it. Many here lament the country's partisan wrangling. We can't do anything about the bigger picture, but we certainly could change the tone here. Suppose we just decided to treat each other with respect and courtesy even though we often disagree. Our attacks here accomplish nothing but to fan the flames.

Is our tone here so bad? If you were borked like is being done to the subject of this thread, wouldn't that mean you have no credibility to comment on great sporting rifles, among other things? I'm glad we're above that, aren't you?

I think we can agree on one thing, if it weren't for off topic banter, some important things would be hidden in plain sight, eh? well, kavanaugh has been a life time appointed federal judge for 12 years now. prior to that he spent several years as an advisor and confidant of president bush 2...during that period, there have been no complaints of misconduct of any kind...on the contrary, dozens of his fellow gubmint employees have come forward and given testimony as to what an honorable stand up guy he really is....

so, please tell me why the gubmint is spending so much time, trying to find out what happened 35-40 years ago...it is irrelevant to kavanaugh's suitability to serve as a federal judge on any federal court.
