Ford will back out of perjuring herself under oath. I suspect it�s all delay tactic. They probably can�t keep Kavanaugh off the court but, they can delay just long enough that he will miss the entire next SCOTUS term, leaving the bench 4-4. That�s the best deal the Dem�s can get now.

It is not the function of government to offset the unfairness in life. The function of government is to provide those things that people either can�t provide for themselves or are more efficiently provided by the government. Police, fire, national defense and the like. And when you speak of unfairness, you really should be considering unfairness of opportunity not unfairness of result. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffet all have a little more money than me. Is that unfair? Nope. They had the ideas to start companies or wisely invest and I didn�t. When you say that gov�t exists to offset unfairness, all you are saying is that the gov�t should confiscate property from one group and give it to another. That is immoral in my book.

An FBI Investigation of a 36 year old allegation with no witnesses is simply another disingenuous attempt to delay the confirmation vote... just like Dianne Feinstein sitting on this baseless accusation since July, and waiting until now to bring it out. It is "He said... she said" and in the end there would be no finding of wrongdoing by Kavanaugh, or no charges of perjury against Ford. And Libtards will still consider him guilty no matter what he might do to prove his innocence. It wouldn't matter if he had proof that he was in an Apollo space capsule circling the moon when the alleged attempted rape occurred.
