I saw a very interesting early Sauer today. Round action utilizing a cocking arm in the action working on same principle as Parkers or Lefevers. No pins in side of action for hammers. But the trigger plate was fairly wide and I'm wondering if it has a trigger plate action. Anyone seen such an animal? Sorry, no photos right now. It was not a beauty queen but just interesting. Oh, probably made for export, marked "JP Sauer & Son".

reading this jogged my memory:
I happen to have a set of spare parts - looks like the complete lock without triggers - JP Sauer & Sohn numbered B1865 on hammers.
Hammers are the heavy type as in photos on the other thread shown above but have the firing pins attached, like on an old type revolver hammer.
Photobucket doesn't work for me anymore - if someone could post a photo for me here, pls send an email address and I'll send it.
