October Partidge in New York. Hunted with a friend of mine, had half a day so made the best of it. We hunted three hours, flushed 4 Woodcock and 13 Patridge. I got two and he got one. What a day. My field bred Springer (out of Roebucks Kennel) . Used my Fox A GRade 16 with some old Remington roll crimp paper shells!

Brian,

Looks like a great day to me. There is nothing like the excietment of hunting with a Springer. I just started my third Springer and it has been a hell of a ride so far and I am not getting off any time soon. It will be a year or so before my fox 16 is ready for the field.
