Probably not a "DIY" topic at this point, so looking for suggestions on where to send the gun with the hopes of it being returned in time for the Southern. Where I would send it is covered up and not taking more work.

1937 Sterlingworth 20ga
Ejector

Problems:

1. Intermittent light strikes on the left, and ejector tripped on left, when right barrel is fired. If left barrel is fired first, everything is fine on the right. Have tried different ammo, pin protrusion has been measured and was within spec.

2. Loads other than 3/4oz RST light loads intermittently re-engaged the safety. Typically the person who shoots this gun would prefer the 3/4oz stuff, but sometimes the 7/8oz target loads (Federal, Winchester) are what's handy.

I thought of disabling the ejectors, to see if it made any difference, but haven't yet. This is my wife's gun, and she doesn't really shoot as of yet. She doesn't care about ejectors.

I welcome your suggestions. Need it fixed. Prefer someone close to NC. Thanks.
