A friend gave me a 16 ga model 311. Barrels & frame are good but the stock is broken. Not worth fixing.
Anyone know if the 16s had their own stock or are they the same as a 12? 20?
Any suggestions for a replacement ready-to-go bolt on stock?

I have a J. Stevens Springfield 16 gauge that I'd like to find a new stock for. It's in about 70% condition at best, but it was my dad's and I'd like to get it back to usable condition and give it to my oldest son. The existing stock has a number of serious cracks running from the action parallel to the tangs.
How do I tell which model stock will fit? Or put another way, to which Savage model sxs is this the equivalent version?

Ordered a stock from Numrich. Arrived yesterday & installed. Not a perfect fit but good enough for a free gun.

Rem pull gunstocks inc up and he has a chart showing the different stevens models. Bobby bbman, I tried to access their site to check what stocks they had and there was no site found at gunstocks inc. Do you have a URL for them?
