It was suggested to me yesterday evening in a local gun store that my Flues trapgun may have been "lined locally" (in the choke area) because it's at less than original constriction (30 pts. currently). I see no evidence of this such as parting line at muzzle or a ring indicating a shoulder in bore and appears counterintuitive as reaming would produce the same result. Has this "lining" fix for trap barrels been commonly resorted to at some time with some guns or am I breathing second-hand smoke? It had a 23 in it later last nite--my all time record for the trap giving me snap straitaways.

I think the local gun store info is unqualified and inaccurate.
If the buyer wanted a different choke they would make it for him.
