Here is a pic of my main BRNO ZBROJOVKA much battered vetran of hunts on 4 continents with me. First gun where I did all of the wood and metal. THis was from the days before I had the whole cheekpiece sizing thing figured out. I may refinish her, and if I do I will likely reshape the cheekpiece. But then on the other hand I have a lof of memries with it and may just leave well enough alone.

She has taken game from fox to moose, in extremes from sea level to over 10,000', -40°F to +110°F, mountain, swamp, marsh, uplland forest, fell on a rock, been under water, and all kinds of stuff.

This is even better.....
PS. Those ZB VZ-24 actioned sporting rifles are lovely too. The spit und polish on factory rifles is much better then what you find on standard offerings from CZ.
Lovely customized version Marc.

Thanks! I have a BRNO factory sporter-21H, also in 7x57. It is my rough weather rifle and has plenty of hard earned hunting scars. Smoothest factory bolt action I have ever felt.

The military Vz24, as shown on my custom, can be made into some really nice rifles

My CZ circa 1950 7 X 57 sporter is the one Jack O'Connor praised as the best saddle rifle although he noted the barrel might have been light and whippy. In 1950 it cost $CAN135. It's a smooth, accurate rifle, the only one I'll never sell. The fit and finish is incomparable to current CZ. Why do things have to go downhill?
