Images would be most beneficial & there's a GGCA publication that has an article about an American collector w/ such examples. Typically the fences have lovely adornment.

I don't know if you can view the article on the site. You can buy the entire magazine, the number of which ellenbr identified. While you are at it, check other items available for purchase.
