Who in N. America specializes in browning damascus barrels? My last one was done by Dale Edmunds but I hear he has taken down his shingle. I have a few English guns that I would like to have done and could have them done in Canada or the US depending on who is doing good, consistent work.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Tamid, not near my notes and won't be until tonight but there is a fellow in Ottawa who does pretty nice work. I'll dig his name and contact info up. I believe he recently joined the DG forum. My friend Gunsaholic has had him do more than a couple barrels and been pleased with the results. The pics have looked great.
There is also member here, Ken61, whose Damascus work has looked pretty good when he's posted pics. When I get around to having mine done, I'd be confident with either.
The world cries out for such: he is needed & needed badly- the man who can carry a message to Garcia

Yes, I have had 5 sets of barrels done by Sean McGuire in Ottawa. His business is called "Old Guns".I believe he goes by the name on here as tigertrout. I was very pleased of the refinishing he did for me. Mine were all done black & white. I don't know for 100% but he may do brown as well. You would have to check.

It is usually better to do them with high humidity as it works faster and maybe better. Sean probably stopped, because they are a lot of work and take 4-6 days from start to finish.

Brad Bachelder. He's done around eight sets for me - always come out very good. 1-616-459-3636. Tell him Paul sent you. Oh, he's real good at color case hardening, or just about anything with double guns [ actually any gun ].
