Yes, it is... obviously. The question is, why would anyone who is actually pro-gun object to a political thread when anti-gun politics threaten all guns and gun owners???
No question in my mind that the implementation of the regulation is political, but I don't see the discussion as political, unless one chooses to make it such.
There is no way to refrain from making a discussion such as this political... unless one wishes to simply ignore which end of the political spectrum these frequent attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights originate. Strangely, what we never see is Democrat gun owners demanding that their Liberal Left Democrat candidates abandon their anti-gun rhetoric and positions. One cannot support and defend anti-gunners and still claim to be pro-gun. It is absurd to even think that.
