After over 20 years of entering the lottery as a non-resident I finally drew a tag for a bull moose in top of the state, Zone 2.
I'm looking for a guide service, processing facility, etc. looking for info, tips, recommendations, etc.
If you have experience with this I'd appreciate your input, contact me direct at recoilrob@gmail.com
thanks,
Rob

No help here, but congratulations on the lucky draw. I understand that is a hard ticket to get. I'm watching an episode of "North Woods Law" as I type, so if any helpful information comes up I'll be sure to pass it along...Geo

Rob: My Dad took me there in 2004 and I recall two things. It was unusually warm that year and we saw very few moose, none legal. There was a lot of local road hunters always cruising trying to cadge an easy kill. Outfitters there seem to be among the do it yourself genre. Pretty Country though.

Noted lots of google info, including claim out-of-state hunters 99 per cent success, but you're looking for a recommendation, Rob---the way to go. Wish I could help. Best of luck. (Nova Scotia moose hunters usually go to Newfoundland and Labrador.)

Thanks gentlemen, recommendations appreciated. I have known for 20 years I wanted to go with a certain outfitter, Libby's Camps. Unfortunately, because of anomaly with how the lottery posted my last name I didn't realize I has won until Friday when my mailbox had 6 brochures in it from outfitters. By then Libby's was full. Waiting for a recommendation for an alternate from them too.
