Clearly. you don't want to accept the answer I have repeatedly given you. No surprise there.

Most of us knew that electing a Republican majority in the House and Senate would not change much without a veto-proof majority. The best we could hope for was that we'd have a Congress that wouldn't give Obama free reign to take us further down the road to ruin. The fact that the new Republican majority didn't even really try to reverse ObamaCare and reckless spending is why Trump is the Republican nominee. But even with a Republican majority in the House and Senate, Obama still used Executive Orders to bypass Congress, including imposing new gun control measures.

Chuck:

The Republicans passed a bill to repeal Obamacare. Obama vetoed it.

They didn't have the votes to override his veto, 2/3 of the Senate is required to override a veto I believe.

Obama would veto anything the Republican would pass. The Republicans wouldn't pass anything Obama wouldn't veto.

Interesting news being reported about the Orlando shooter. Eyewitnesses are claiming he has been seen in that gay nightclub many times OVER THE LAST THREE YEARS.

That time frame would suggest that he was struggling with his own sexuality, rather than casing the joint, and the tenets of his radical faith. Radical faith won and 50 people are dead.

Looking forward to President Trump.

Look at this description of shooting an AR.

Poor feela from New York Daily News got PTSD from a few rounds. This guy is an out-and-out liar or he has a very delicate shoulder.

"The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable."

Judging by the pictures and he's not left handed so he's fibbing about the brass too.

Mike is correct, and Last Dollar is wrong. I also said that they didn't really even try to reverse ObamaCare. We all knew that passing the bill to repeal it would not reverse it because we also knew Obama would veto it. But they still had the power of the purse to de-fund it. They also had the power to not increase the debt limit, but rolled over on that too. And that is why Trump is the nominee. Will he be able to change things? We can only hope.

But we do know that electing Hillary Clinton will only make things worse, and she will endanger our Gun Rights. She has promised to do that.

keith I think Obamacare was written so that congress couldn't defund it without repealing the healthcare law. I guess they could have shut down the entire government until Obama agreed to repeal Obamacare. But when they shut down the government during Bill Clinton's first term it hurt the Republicans badly.
