The problem with bringing back misfires is twofold: (1) it encourages incivility and useless pissing contests and (2) Dave winds up paying for the bandwidth and storage occupied by all that juvenilia. It's great fun to have a playground when someone else is paying for it. I look over at 16ga.com and note the gentlemanly exchange of ideas and information, then compare it to what used to go on when misfires was "live". I know which I prefer. I've learned and continue to learn a lot from the other commenters on this site. Without need for misfires. fiery, dependable, occasionally transcendent
