There are some other details that would attribute the eBay stock to Worthen:
There is no cut out for the Lyman 48 elevation slide screw, Worthen would sometimes cut the slide flush with the mounting block, then reattach the screw higher on the slide.
He would also file down the rear of the bottom metal where it contacts the receiver. This would shorten the depth of the bottom metal by 1/8" allowing for a thinner grip. Then the trigger tip was shortened to avoid contact with the inside of the guard bow.
On all the Worthens I have seen so far, about a dozen, the comb nose is a bit forward from the center of grip. As for the horn grip cap with the missing oval, even the little door hinge screw holding it in place is a match to others.
I don't like to speculate on checkering patterns, but it is Worthens style especially how the forend doesn't wrap around, from what I've seen it has always been two panel. Although there could be exceptions.
