CABELA's in St. Louis had an interesting rifle in the rack today. it is a custom target rifle on a M-1903 action (#25x,xxx) with a heavy target barrel made by, and marked, NEIDNER. Gun has target blocks, but no metallic sights. Has two triggers, but maker unknown. Caliber not marked, but probably 30-06; unsure. Walnut target stock seems so-so to me, definitely not Shelhammer. They want $1,600 which seems high to me with no sights.
