Docs indicate ATF was using Fast and Furious to justify new gun regshttp://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014...w_gun_regs.htmlJust as Second Amendment civil rights activists feared, federal government bureaucrats were supplying illegal firearms to Mexican drug cartels in the expectation that it would led to pressure for more regulation. Analyzing a 60 page document release in response to a FOIA action by Judicial Watch Attkisson writes: Justification for New Gun Control Regulations ATF’s internal Public Affairs Talking Points show the agency was using Fast and Furious to help justify new gun control regulations–without telling the public that ATF was actually facilitating the delivery of weapons to Mexican drug cartels. The talking points (p. 15) state: “These cases demonstrate the ongoing trafficking of firearms by Mexican DTO’s and other associated groups operating in Arizona and the need for reporting of multiple sales for certain types of rifles in order to ferret out those intent on providing firearms to these criminal groups.”

....bloomberg....has the most appeal to the most voters....
....as for bloomberg's public positions regarding gun control, and other issues, read his web page.... So when you're identifying yourself with him, do you fancy yourself a mayor or a women. But it's true, those locked in poverty and trapped in a stagnated middle class can easy identify with an elite who can afford to drop a cool 50m with not a whole lot to show for it. Yup, you're on to something, thought provoking, sublime, transcending. Yes= identifying with an elite-that played out well for Mitt Romney and his 47% comments at an elite Country Club in elite Palm Beach, didn't it. You want to sink Bloomie's ship- tie him in with ol' Bernie Madoff, that'll do the trick!!

....You want to sink Bloomie's ship- tie him in with ol' Bernie Madoff, that'll do the trick!! bloomie reads like he can afford to float his boat any which where he feels like. I wasn't so sure ed read his own link about progressive left wing social engineering. Run as a Republican for pres., bloom wants to be mayor of the world with an urban inner city social justice platform. Then again, the more ed protests, the likely closer things are to the truth.

"bloomie reads like he can afford to float his boat any which where he feels like."
precisely my point...either way he runs he will win.
so, do we let him run as a dem or make sure he runs as a rep?
better to have him beholding us, rather than to dem.
keep it simple and keep it safe...

....better to have him beholding us.... I gave a courtesy skim to your 'link'. The only person or 'big corp' that he may be beholding to, other than himself, is soros. I can understand that you get a tingle up your leg when you hear the name, it's happened before, but what if you know you're dishing out cow pies and everyone else does too.

craig: you missed the point. which ever party bloomberg runs for, he will be beholding to them for their financial support. it is better, i think for him to be beholding to the republicans, rather than to the dems... and as for soros, come on; bloomberg above all else is a successful capitalist business man with significant political expertise. soros on the other hand is a successful socialist crook and gambler. one believes in the greater good. the other does not. read both their wiki bios and get back to us... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bloomberghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Soros

Ed, we just don't pick someone to run for their respective party they have to go through the entire primary system to earn their right to represent the Republican party. During that process your man Bloomberg would be eaten alive by the other Republicans and the Republican voters.

ed, you are beyond stupid if you think that Bloomberg would ever feel beholdin' or indebted to gun owners in any way.
You are as stupid as the people who believed that Bill Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama would respect the Second Amendment, and then saw them infringe upon the rights of law abiding gun owners. There is no need to look at the bio of either Bloomberg or Soros. Their anti-gun actions speak louder than any words on any website.
Ed Good, your anti-gun actions are also self incriminating.
You ed, are an anti-gunner. You frequently come here telling us how gun owners should not have so many guns. So why don't you prove that you are sincere and start by giving up all of your guns?
The NRA had to divert resources to becoming a Gun Rights Organization because of idiots like you who would simply give up those rights to appease anti-gun extremists.
Guys like you and King are the biggest problem we face, and you are no friend or ally to us.
A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

never suggested that...
keep in mind that the "gun issue" is only of interest to a very small number of fanatics, who also may vote.
and the rest of keith's most recent nonsense is not even worthy of response.

58: sadly, it is mostly lots of money and charisma that wins elections...
the main purposes of the primaries are fund raising and tv personality development.
