These guns were mostly given - when they were "presented" - to officers of about the rank of colonel. I have Miroku 20 ga some great wood carver put this kind of carving on the buttstock. I bought it for a pittance because it was not original. Shoots nicely too. Anything Worth Doing is Worth Overdoing
