OP Mbudu Boxlock Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 2 South Africa	Good day to All. Can anyone please assist me in determining the year of manufacture of my 404 Jeffery bolt action rifle? It is built on a K98 action and writing on the barrel reads " W.J. Jeffery & Co. Ltd. 13 King Street. St James's London." Serial number 21040 It has the long express type rear sight with flip up leaves to 400yrds and ladder type to 1000yrds. British prood marks and " Cordite 55-400Max ". There is a horn end on the front of the stock and a horn grip cap. Thank you Not all those who wonder, are lost
