Particularly in the rear where the monte carlo is further to the rear than the back of the cheekpiece. The stock is on a custom Win 52 that appears to be pre-war work. Receiver dates from 1934. John

Execution looks really good - nice grip cap, checkering, buttplate fit, & stock oval. Is that an Uncle Mike's swivel? That's the only thing I see that might be post-war, but could have been added later if it is.
