The last two photos will not show for some reason, but if you click on the links they can be viewed.

Very sharp conversion! Are the tubes threaded in or just sweated?

Pressed and sweated, just like any standard sleeving job.

Nice! How are you going to regulate? Looks like the ribs are already sweated in. Or is the left barrel floated at the last 1/3, like Merkel DRs with the adjustable setscrew regulation at the muzzle? I did a 45-100 DR on a Merkel 12 ga action, and figured out that they use 2 setscrews at 45 deg angles in the front sight block to move the left muzzle for fine tuning regulation.

I'm going to try a photo to illustrate: Fixed it-left out the backslash.

The ribs are sweated. If the barrels need to be moved for regulation they are placed in a fixture and the forward 1/3-1/2 of the barrels are heated until the solder releases, then the barrels can be moved either together or independently via screws and allowed to cool.

Egad! I did blocks and shims, with 2 hose clamps, and 40+ rounds of ammo to the local gunclub range for rough regulation, after using laser boresighters in the shop to get a size for the blocks at the muzzle and front sling swivel. The guys at the club gave me lots of room when they saw the hose clamps, and the 45-100 rounds. Found out why DRs cost so much. The setscrews at the muzzle in the photo are 4-40 allen, with 4 flats at the ends, so it's "click adjustable".

How did it regulate?
Would love to see some targets. Here you go. These are the final targets. Yes, I did hang the targets upside down. The barrels did need a slight adjustment.

I don't know what else you could do, but I just can't get over the aesthetics of the left side mounted aperture sight. I have a similar setup on an O/U Valmet DR and mounted a Lyman 57 on the locking slide. I don't like that either but it is functional.

That is amazing to me! I wouldn't want to take anything away from any other artist but the combination of skills and talent I see in progression really impresses a humble guy like me. That is the kind of art I can understand. And you haven't engraved it yet!
Perhaps you would answer this question? Would you explain the black stock to beautiful wood grain please?
