Most interesting with the 4 relief holes near the strikers. Also either the right tube is paradox or the pattern welded tube is rifled. Would like to see an image of the inside just forward of the chamber.

He answered:

Keiner der beiden Läufe ist gezogen. Weitere Fotos sind leider nicht möglich.

No one of the barrels is rifled (Paradox) no more pictures available... :-(

Wolfgang:
Cheers for the effort, but from the German do I understand that neither of the 2 tubes are rifled for the full length?

Raimey,

that's right! What do you mean about the function of the 4 holes? Ever seen before?

Wolfgang:
I have seen the holes prior and I think it was on a Sauer. I don't think they are for a spanner wrench but for pressure relief in the event the primer was pierced or there was some form of pressure spike at the standing breech. Are there any images of the standing breech to show if the holes extend there? It may have disk set strikers

If those holes are to vent gas from a ruptured primer the gas would blow back into the shooter's face. Doesn't seem like a good idea.

Roger, you have some point there, I also think that these holes are not for gas relief but I think that they are disk set strikers. If Wolfgang ask the seller about more detailed pictures he can ask the seller exactly what the fonction of these holes are.

Gentlemen,

this is what the seller answered:

"Piston (Gasdruck) sehr aufwändig und selten zu sehen."
= called "Piston" (Gas relief) very complex and rare to see
(hope the translation is correct...!)

Regards,
Wolfgang
