I have a SKB 200E SxS that has a problem with ejection of the shells. It always want to eject the right barrel whether it has been fired or not. I have taken the gun apart, changed ejector springs but can't seem to find anything else wrong. Gun has seen lots of use but functions fine, except for the right barrel ejector. Any help or direction is appreciated.

Thanks,
YooperJ

Check the right side ejector sear. I fixed a 28 ga. Flues the other day that was doing the same thing. Lightly stone the face of the ejector sear and it may correct your problem. Bobby

As Bobby said, suspect the ejector sear, hammer, or selector mechanism. Springs, strong or weak, would not be a suspect in premature ejection.

I have a 280E with the same problem. I took it to a gunsmith and he fixed it for awhile, and the last time my son used it, the problem came back.

If you get it fixed please post what corrective measure you took.

Thanks - Chicago

YooperJ.

What part of the U.P. do you live in? I lived in Marquette for 8 years. Loved the grouse/woodcock hunting and cross country skiing. Work brought me back to Chicago area. I still get up there several times a year to hunt. This year should be better than the last couple for grouse.
