For those who do, what do you use for your "set-up", if anything? You know, sandbags and such......

I use a padded milk crate to get my forehand up so I'm in an upright position. If I take the rest it'll be on top of the milk crate and my hand between the rifle and the rest if I'm sitting at the bench.
There's never any part of the rifle touching anything except ME!

I have a Lyman adjustable front rest that I will use to get the rifle in a high enough plane then hold the forend with my hand as if I am taking a hunting shot. I try to get as upright as one would be when hunting. As with Mike, the rifle itself touches nothing but me.
