Brushed it with the back of my hand trying to ease it aside against the sleeve of my coat. Got a nice mark, almost gone now, between the thumb and forefinger.
Even I'm bright enough (on a good day) to avoid peeing on an electric fence.

....Boy them gold bricks you bring home from work get heavy don't they. You want grumpy, I had to pass on a hunting trip to South Dakota because, without a steady job, I couldn't afford to go this year.

Don't get me wrong. I'm quite grateful for the work. I know from no work and no money. But, it's a temporary gig which looks pretty certain to conclude right at the turn of the year, which means I'll be hitting the bricks about the same time the bird season closes here. That means it's either chase rabbits on snowshoes (assuming snow - no longer a given even around here) through cedar and pine thickets or hit the road to places south and hope to find open hunting somewhere.
I could have used just a teeny bit of better timing....
