I don't know how may attempts it took you to capture the rifling but it is a capital effort. I'd like to see the "Crown" over "V" to see if it is the German on-hand mark or possibly someone's trademark. Similar action to the double barreled Nagant rolling block "horse pistols" tested by Mexico during the Porfirio Diaz regime (1880's?). I've never seen a long gun with that exact action before, although multi-barreled Belgian "volley guns" used a somewhat similar action.

As a matter of fact I got a .32 rim Pieper fire volley gun from the same source. Although it is marked in a more conventional fashion. The seller knew nothing about either one.
