OP Little Creek Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 623 Likes: 1 Alaska	I have a Parker gun which has the letters CV and JG on the barrel flats. Iknow the JG circled is John Gray a barrel man at the company. The CV in large letter I am not sure of Do you know? Thanks! Mike

No Parker would have been repaired by Remington in 1927 as Parker Bros was in full operation at that time as an independent company. Look more closely at the CV, is it really OV? OV was Parker's code for the Trojan grade. Does the rib stamping on your barrels say "Trojan Steel"?
