Walt,
Can you enlighten us further about these guns? Would they have been special order or stocked? How did Ithaca assign numbers and at what point in production? Would these frames have been machined around the same time, then possibly finished at differnet times? Is it possible to obtain a letter or copy of records for these guns?

Those are just great. That is really a beautifully shaped forend on the top gun, 457295, the long narrow one.
I've got a feeling you'll be hanging on to those two for awhile. I'd still like to see'em in use on a dove field here.

Those are really nice Chuck....wish they were mine, even though I've never been able to shoot well enough to use 410s. If they were, I'd be looking for a slab of wood we could get two matching blanks out of and re stock them.....most likely straight grips with the long slender forends.... and plenty of balls out checkering.
