I have always had an itch for an Elsie in 20 bore. I found one and boy is it a shooter. It needs a recoil pad and that's it. I have really enjoyed this piece. Now that I have a Merkel,a Browning bss,a 410 sxs, I have trouble deciding which one to shoot. Never thought I would have that problem. I even shot a limit of dove with it on opening day of dove. The only thing I could add to this pic would be a Parker. I included a pic but not sure if I got it right. Yup, you gotta put a Parker in that group!

Just don't forget the old gun traders axiom-- "The greater the Yearning, the more profit we be Earning"--They all have their plus and minus points- I just flat out shoot 12 gauge two triggered LC Smiths better than my Parker 12 GHE or my Ithaca 12 Flues Grade 2E-- Smith ejectors, IMO- the May 1901 Lewis patent- are way better than Parker ejectors, as far as reliability--but LC Smith Hunter One Triggers- that's a "whole 'nother ball game"--Good luck with your search--

I Got my first Lefever in late 1968. Since then my yearnings have just mostly been for more Lefevers. I have a very low desire for Parker, Smith, Ithaca, Fox, Win 21 etc. I would like to have two D M Lefevers though (the Crossbolt ones), one a trigger plate action & the other a boxlock. When you have the Best, there's little need to yearn for the Less.
