Hi all, I just want to publicly thank ellenbar (Raimey) for all the help that he's given me. He has a vast store of knowledge that he is willing to share with everyone. I'm always amazed at the extent of his knowledge on even the smallest makers and also the technical side of German guns.

If I have a question on a gun or need advise or an opinion , I can always count on him for a response.

He's also a gentleman when he responds to posts, never a cross or curt response, a true gentlemen.

Thanks again Raimey for being here and all your help!

Greg

Thanks for the accolades guys, a little over the top for me as I view the research effort as being one cog on a gear on the Austrian/Belgian/Bohemian/German gunmaker info collecting machine. There's still a great deal of work to be done to add to all the previous efforts by others in order to bring it all together in a presentable format.

Kind Regards,

Raimey

I am blown away by the expertise of Raimey, Kuduae, Mike Ford, and others on this forum. I have never seen anything like it, and it has opened my understanding of German arms history and identification like nothing else could. Kudos to all of you!!! Bro.Steve

Same here. I hope that on day this encyclopedic knowledge can be organized into a book.

Thanks guys, your efforts are appreciated.

X4.

Never ceases to amaze me, what the folks here can suss out of a couple stampings on the hidden surfaces of an old gun. It often leaves me wondering, "what would those old Krauts who made these guns think, if they knew a bunch of us were poring over their work and workmanship a century later?"

I find myself hoping their response would include selling me a nice drilling out the back door well below retail and sitting down for a couple beers.
