I just read Vic Venters article about Tony in the current 'Shooting Sportsman' magazine. Wow Vic, you certainly did a very nice job and what a wonderful tribute to Tony. I thoroughly enjoyed the article and I'm sure Tony would have been very pleased. Great job!

A very sad turn of affairs concerning Tony, but a really great and well written tribute to him.

just received print copy of his book...

even better than the on line version.

his chapter on receiver coloring is worth more than the price of the book. first time the process has been so completely and clearly described.

He is surely missed. I always was excited when I saw he had posted on this site. I had the oppertunity to correspond as well and he was very gracious and was always willing to help.
I am still looking for his book here in the U.S.

I've not yet read the article Vic wrote, but have no concern for it being a fine tribute to a really good guy. I find it fitting that it was received by subscribers just before this Father's Day weekend here in the US. I'm sure that his bride & children know how much he valued every moment w/them, but on this special weekend perhaps we need to reinforce that their husband and dad was indeed a special kinda guy and one we much enjoyed. I did and a few others too who are no longer with us and gone too soon IMHO.
